Airpol Annual Plenary Congress, Cyprus

Airpol held, on the 8-9th November its annual Plenary Congress in Larnaca, Cyprus.

The Congress gathered over 80 participants from 27 countries and included a speech from the Commissioner for Home Affairs, Migration and Citizenship Mr Dimitris Avramopoulos  on the second day. To see the full speach please press on the link: 

The program included also a review of the last 18 months of Airpol activities together with a long list of interesting speakers from a.o. Europol, FBI, TSA, Interpol, Frontex, Eurocontrol, OSCE and other speakers on more specific topics.

This year’s novelty, the Exhibition area was highly appreciated both by the participants at the Congress as well as of the Companies taking part and this exhibition area will return at next year’s congress. The second day ended with a panel discussion with participating companies on the theme what could be your contribution to the LEA crime fighting/security task at airports.
